Late last term, students at QAHS participated in a free dress day fundraiser for the Gold Coast charity Baby Give Back. Baby Give Back help families in crisis by providing donations via social service agencies and social workers who are qualified to assess a family's need.
Our CAS group Baby Give Back ran the fundraiser and the school community on the day helped to raise $346.30 in cash donations. During this event, we also raised a boot load of baby consumables including 172 nappies, 8 packets of baby wipes, nappy rash cream, 7 pairs of toddler shoes, 4 bags of boys and girls baby and toddler clothing, and a large box of lightly used toys.
