Our Brilliant Futures program for Term 3 kicked off at the end of Week 1 with our Maths workshop, held at the Academy, with one session for our Introductory Year 7s and one for our Investigative Year 8s. This year the workshop was in the form of a 90 minute “Escape Room" competition, involving a variety of different maths processes and puzzles, designed and led by our own Mrs McGovern and ably supported by Mr So and Mr Yang.
The work was challenging and students were tested right up until the end. This was another great chance for our students to work collaboratively with each other, and to reflect on different types of Maths concepts.
