The final of The Mayor's Technology and Innovation Awards was held on Monday 16 October at Bond University. The event is held in conjunction with Study Gold Coast, Bond University, Cohort Innovation Space and City of Gold Coast. On behalf of the QAHS community, we congratulate our two QAHS teams that were selected as finalists in the 2023 event. The evening consisted of a trade display and pitch to an audience of Gold Coast City Councillors, Academics, invited guests, school staff and families. In preparation for the event, all finalist teams engaged in a mentoring workshop at the Cohort Innovation Space and had access to industry professionals as mentors (see video link).

Both teams did a terrific job with their trade displays and pitch on the night. We congratulate Team Wayveboard who finished in 3rd place on the evening.
