Year 11 students at QAHS were provided the opportunity to apply to become a Science Ambassador in 2024. The UQ Science Ambassador's program enables students to champion science at their school by developing and delivering events, including National Science Week activities, and encouraging other senior science students to share their experiences across year levels.

Over the past 20 years, thousands of students from schools across Queensland have participated in the program.

Please join me in congratulating the following QAHS students on their Science Ambassadorial role in 2024:

Harima Ali, Arisa Furutani, Sophie Hirabe, Athena Hua, Scarlett Kim, Naajiya Mohinudeen, Lakshmi Purushothaman, Aadi Rai, Isabella Zhai and Emma Zhuang

Please extend congratulations also to Chloe Chan and Aaid Rai  who nominated for the Engineering, Design and Computing High School Ambassador Program, with their subject speciality of Computer Science.
