Throughout Term 2 a group of students participated in a CAS activity creating large artworks on pieces of plywood to be displayed as part of the 'Gold Coast Big City Lights' art festival which took place in Southport from 7 – 10 July.

Students took part in a series of workshops with Mint Art Studios in Burleigh along with a number of students from other state high schools, where they were given some guidelines as well as the colour pallet to use in order to create an artwork based on the theme of 'Identity'.

Lauren Luchs, Jacinta Marrison, Rhea Garg and Kiana Dariush-Far worked extensively in order to be able to produce these magnificent pieces of artwork.
