Lastly, we received some late mail that Natasha Lynch has broken the record at Broadwater District AND Regional level in the Hammer Throw event! This was also capped off with a 1st in Discus and 1st in Shot Put. Outstanding! More details to come in the next edition…

QAHS Basketballers conclude a successful season in the Gold Coast Senior School Basketball competition

QAHS basketball squad played their final round of the season against Southport SHS recently. The team has shown incredible commitment and improvement as the season progressed, under the expert guidance of our student leadership team of Hugo Chan, Fergus Rebgetz, Leon Li and Enoch Adewumi. The future is bright for the side, which consists of a large contingent of Year 10 and 11 students who have developed immensely since the beginning of the season. Many thanks to Mrs Vanessa Rebgetz for her superb work on the score bench and for driving the school bus on away games. We also thank Year 10 student, Charlotte Wedemeyer, for stepping in to referee and coach during the season.

Well done team and we look forward to building towards season 2024!
