A special congratulations to Year 10 student Natasha Lynch for her outstanding achievements at the Sydney 2021 Australian National Track & Field Championships at Sydney Olympic Park during the holidays. Natasha competed in the Under 16, Under 17 & Open Hammer competitions, as well as Under 16 Discus and Under 16 Shot put.
Natasha placed 11th in Shot Put and in the top 8 for Discus with a new PB. Natasha also competed against Alex Hully, an Australian Olympian in Open Hammer and placed 14th out of 23 and obtained a new PB. Natasha was the youngest competitor in the Opens competition and is now Australian Champion in the U16 & U17 Hammer competitions, with 2 new PB's as well as breaking the Championship records for both competitions.
