The Queensland Science Contest is an annual event organised by the Science Teachers Association of Queensland (STAQ). The contest is open to all Queensland students from pre-school to Year 12 and is judged by representatives from scientific and educational organisations across seven age divisions and five categories.
Bursary Awards are provided by a range of organisations to recognise student work in specific disciplines or topics. The organisations determine the amount of their award and the criteria against which it is judged.
Once again, our students have done extremely well in the 69th Queensland Science Contest, winning a total of $1305 in prize money.
