We are off to a flying start with sport this term. A number of students have Broadwater or South Coast trials in Water Polo, Golf and Swimming coming up in the coming weeks. So far we have had our very own Cara Korhonen place 2nd in Broadwater Tennis trials and she has successfully passed South Coast Tennis trials under our QAHS name. We wish Cara all the very best as she moves onto State trials in the coming weeks.
Congratulations also goes to Year 11 student Josh Narain who will be representing QAHS as a part of the State Triathlon team at Nationals this year. Josh has already progressed through a number of rounds to get to this stage; he trialled for Broadwater, South Coast and then States and has been successful at every stage. Placing 8th overall at States, Josh has stated that he has achieved his goal of making it to Nationals but is aware of how he can continue to develop and improve. We wish Josh all the best for the National Triathlon.
